Calgary Early Learning Centre

About

Calgary Early Learning Centre is a three-hour daily program designed to prepare children for a successful entry into grade one. We offer a minimum of 570 hours of instruction throughout the school year. We follow Alberta Learning’s philosophy that kindergarten provides a foundation for later success and helps to promote a positive attitude toward lifelong learning. Calgary Early Learning recognizes the importance of creative arts in the development of young children. Our Senior Kindergarten children experience activities such as crafts, painting, music, movement, rhythm band and creative drama. They are also introduced to oral French, weekly computer and technology activities and home reading. Educational fieldtrips and special classroom visitors are an important part of this program. We are “teaching each child for tomorrow."
