The Foothills Alliance School is a ministry of Foothills Alliance Church, which exists to provide a Christ-centred program that encourages the development of the whole child. Preschool & Kindergarten programs provide balanced instruction that enhances physical, social, emotional, intellectual, creative, and spiritual development and gives children opportunities to succeed in an environment of acceptance. Alberta Education Certified teachers all hold Bachelors of Education degrees and Early Childhood Certification. As professionals, staff constantly reflect on their practice and make curriculum decisions based on the developmental needs, interests, and input of their students. FAS values the parent/school connection and encourages families to be active participants in their child’s school experience. The school has a full-sized gym that children use daily as they increase their physical health and skills. "Solid Foundations" programming provides fully funded Early Intervention Support Services for children with extra or special needs. Services include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, access to an educational psychologist & physiotherapy.
