The Fort McMurray Christian School, as a fully accredited school, follows Alberta curriculum standards. In all subject areas, God is acknowledged as the creator and sustainer of the world. Students will develop an understanding of this awesome reality and the way that this affects living in this world. Christian teachers integrate a Christian perspective using their professional background and training, as well as curriculum resources produced by Christian Schools International and other Christian publishers. These fully trained, Alberta-certified teachers encourage students in their God-given responsibilities and abilities. The grade-integrated classrooms provide opportunities for students to learn responsibility and cooperation, but also to develop a spirit of community. Library visits, multiple electives, worship arts, field trips (local, regional, and international), and assemblies enhance the students’ education.
