The Gilbertine Institute was created with the vision of facilitating a wide variety of educational endeavours which acknowledge parents as the primary educators of their children. While the Institute itself is Catholic, the programs it facilitates may not be. For example, the Holy House is a Catholic environment and is most suited to members of the Catholic faith. WISDOM Home Schooling, on the other hand, serves students and parents from any or no faith background. This flexibility is important to the Gilbertine Institute as it makes the best use of resources and works towards greater educational opportunities for young people in Alberta. Students from all over Alberta Alberta can access the services of the Gilbertine Institute.
