Welcome to Great Journeys Learning Center, a progressive, year-round Daycare, Preschool and Alberta Accredited Kindergarten, providing Calgary families with a child-centered approach to early learning, a collaborative family atmosphere, and a safe, inspiring environment that encourages exploration and creativity. We provide warm, personalized care and developmentally appropriate programs for preschool, pre-junior kindergarten, junior kindergarten, and kindergarten. While parents appreciate the convenience of having a childcare centre incorporated within their Preschool and Kindergarten programs; children benefit from a “seamless” day with early learning and care programs designed just for them. Our early-childhood program combines the best of Maria Montessori and the Reggio Emilia Methods, engaging children ages 2-5 years with developmentally appropriate activities, and a focus on the ‘whole child’. Through creative exploration and play, we support each child’s cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth. Our program incorporates social and environmental awareness into our curriculum and emphasizes earth-friendly practices and healthy choices.
