Lakeland Christian Academy is located in Cold Lake, Alberta; however, we serve the entire Municipal District of Bonnyville. The school’s mission, based on the Christian world view, is to provide a positive environment for children to obtain an academic education that is both Christ centred and academically sound. Our curriculum encompasses all of the outcomes required by the Alberta Program of Studies to provide our students with a diploma from Alberta Education upon graduation but is delivered in an individualized manner. Each child learns in different ways and at different speeds. Therefore, after diagnostic testing (a process of ascertaining the student’s actual academic performance level), an Individualized Program Plan is developed that best meets the needs of the child. Our school trains Christian youth of all abilities in the highest principles of Christian leadership and self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship. Students will graduate LCA fully equipped to face life situations with quality of character, personal integrity, high moral standards, and outstanding academic achievement, and will go on to fulfill the will of God in their lives.
