The LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten (formerly Londonderry Child Development Society) is an independent, non-profit, parent cooperative, preschool and kindergarten program, for children 3-5 years old. The primary objective of the program is for each child to develop age appropriate social, behavior, communication and developmental skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment with a focus on speech and language development. We believe parent involvement is an important part of a child’s development; it is a key component in the quality program provided each year. A love of learning is encouraged in every child through structured activities, free play, circle time, daily projects, and monthly themes. Special events such as seasonal parties, family events, field trips and in-class presentations are included to enhance the learning process.
